Q1: Which length should I order?

0.1 m for bench-to-device jumpers; 0.5 m for short in-camera-gap extensions; 1 m–1.5 m for head-unit-to-dashcam runs; 2 m–3.5 m for tailgate trunk-to-head-unit or door-to-ECU routing. When in doubt, take the next length up - excess can be coiled neatly, but a harness that is too short cannot be extended in the field.

Q2: Is this FAKRA male or female?

FAKRA female jack on both ends, water-blue housing with yellow band. It extends a male-to-male factory pigtail or mates between two female FAKRA panels sockets - confirm your vehicle's connector gender against the photos before ordering.

Q3: What do the red and black wires do?
