Available Configurations

A Coded Female to A Coded Female
Both ends are the H-MTD single port A coded female, part number E6K10A-1CAZ5-A, black housing.
Use it as a pigtail extension when a factory H-MTD A coded male pigtail on a sensor or ECU is too short. The female to female gender keeps both factory pigtails unchanged, and the shielded GG2SPEED 251 cable preserves the 10G signal across the extension. The 0.5 m to 6 m length range covers everything from a tight ECU jump to a long trunk to cabin run.
A Coded Female to Loose Female Contact Pins
One end is the H-MTD A coded female, E6K10A-1CAZ5-A, and the other end is left as loose female contact pins with no plastic housing, showing the metal terminals only.
Use it when you need to build your own housing on the other end, such as inserting the contacts into a custom panel receptacle or a non standard H-MTD connector. The A coded female end gives you a certified H-MTD interface, and the loose pins let you define the other end. The 0.5 m to 6 m range covers bench to device routing.

A Coded Female to Bare Cut Wires
One end is the H-MTD A coded female, E6K10A-1CAZ5-A, and the other end is left as bare cut wires with the green and white pairs exposed.
Use it when you need to terminate the other end yourself, such as soldering to a test board, mating to a non H-MTD connector, or building a custom harness. The A coded female end gives you a certified H-MTD interface, and the bare end lets you define your own termination. The 0.5 m to 6 m range covers bench to device routing.
A Coded Female to Z Coded Female
One end is the H-MTD A coded female, E6K10A-1CAZ5-A, black housing, and the other end is the H-MTD Z coded female, part number E6K10A-1BZZ5-Z, water blue housing.
Use it when the ECU side uses A coding but the sensor side uses Z coding. The black A coded end plugs into the factory A coded pigtail, and the water blue Z coded end mates to a Z coded male sensor. This is the A to Z cross coding adapter, and the 0.5 m to 6 m range covers everything from a tight dashboard jump to a trunk to cabin run.

Applications
| Application | How It Is Used | What It Enables |
| Bench test rig | Wire H-MTD ECUs to test instruments with female to female or bare ends. | Repeatable 10G test links instead of hand built cables. |
| Aftermarket retrofit | Extend H-MTD video or Ethernet links in a retrofit install. | Keeps the 10G signal clean through the dashboard routing. |
| A to Z coding crossover | Adapt an A coded H-MTD port to a Z coded H-MTD device. | Mix A coded ECUs with Z coded sensors without a separate adapter. |
| Custom harness build | Use the bare or pin end to terminate to your own connector. | A certified H-MTD interface with custom termination on the other end. |
| H-MTD pigtail extension | Plug the A coded female into an existing male pigtail and extend the run. | Reaches a relocated ECU or sensor without cutting the factory harness. |
Closing line: because both ends are Rosenberger H-MTD contacts on the same shielded GG2SPEED 251 cable, the 10G link stays impedance matched end to end.

Product FAQ
Q1: Is this a genuine Rosenberger H-MTD connector?
Yes. The A coded female housing is genuine Rosenberger HDCS H-MTD, part number E6K10A-1CAZ5-A, black with pink release latch. The cable is original GG2SPEED R 251 fully shielded 10G automotive Ethernet.
Q2: Can you make custom lengths or end options?
Yes. We support custom lengths from 0.5 m to 6 m and beyond, and can quote other H-MTD gender and coding combinations on request. Send us your connector photos and target length, and we will quote the matching cable.
Q3: What is the difference between the four configurations?
Config 1 is A coded female to A coded female for extension. Config 2 is A coded female to loose female contact pins. Config 3 is A coded female to bare cut wires. Config 4 is A coded female to Z coded female for cross coding.
Q4: Why would I need the Z coded version?
Pick Config 4 when one side of the link uses A coding and the other side uses Z coding. The black A coded end mates to A coded pigtails, and the water blue Z coded end mates to Z coded devices. A and Z coding are keyed and cannot mate to each other directly.
