Does the self-closing flip cover provide complete waterproof protection ?
The self-closing flip cover provides protection when the USB port is not in use. However, achieving a specific IP rating requires verification of the product sealing structure, panel installation method, and actual test results.
When a USB device is inserted, the cover remains open, and the same level of waterproof protection should not be assumed.
Does the 4m version support USB 3.0 5Gbps transmission ?
The 4m version is an available cable length configuration. However, the USB 3.0 connector type alone does not guarantee 5Gbps operation with every device at this length.
