The Y-coding is a hybrid mating face for M12 circular connectors with four data and four power contacts. Data transmission is comparable with the D-coding. Power transmission is comparable with the M12 A-coding. M12 Y-coded connectors are used for I/O boxes and network components for Fieldbus and EtherCAT. M12 hybrid Y-coded circular connectors offer IP65/67 ratings and Cat5 performance up to 100Mbit/s. The M12 hybrid Y-coded connector features a push/pull polyamide (PA) housing, screw locking mechanism, crimp terminals and Y-coded insert designed in accordance with IEC 61076-2-113.
