RJ45 Male to Dual Bare Wire Broadcast Audio Pigtail Cable for Axia
Designed for installations that require custom field termination, PCM-KW-660 converts an RJ45 8P8C male interface into two individually accessible shielded wire branches. The 2-meter cable provides additional routing distance between broadcast equipment, racks, terminal points and custom audio interfaces.

Open-Wire Ends for Flexible Equipment Connections
Unlike a fixed RJ45-to-XLR adapter, PCM-KW-660 terminates in two open-wire branches. This gives installers greater flexibility when connecting the cable to terminal blocks, screw terminals, custom connectors, internal equipment wiring or application-specific interfaces.
The two branches are separately identified, helping simplify installation and reducing the need to cut or modify a fully terminated cable assembly on site.

Two Separate Signal Branches with Shield Connection
The cable separates the RJ45 audio wiring into two shielded branches. Colored conductors and heat-shrink identification make the individual connections easier to distinguish during installation and maintenance.
Branch P1 uses the RJ45 3 and 6 signal positions, while branch P2 uses positions 1 and 2. The braid is connected through the specified shield connection.
The required wiring should always be checked against the target equipment before field termination.
APPLICATION FLEXIBILITY
Where a Bare-Wire RJ45 Audio Cable Is Useful
This construction is intended for installations where the equipment-side connection is known but the field side requires a custom or non-standard termination.
More Routing Freedom Between Equipment and Termination Points
The 2-meter overall length gives PCM-KW-660 a different role from short RJ45 audio adapters. It can span the distance between a console or audio node and a nearby rack, terminal panel, equipment cabinet or custom wiring point.
Typical environments include radio stations, broadcast studios, audio control rooms, equipment rooms, recording studios and professional system integration projects.

Broadcast Equipment Applications
PCM-KW-660 is intended for compatible Axia equipment and may also be evaluated for selected Telos Alliance, Wheatstone Blades, Logitek Jetstream, Arrakis and Audio Arts installations using the corresponding RJ45 interface and wiring configuration.
Compatibility should be confirmed by equipment model and pin assignment. The presence of an RJ45 connector alone does not establish wiring compatibility.
