Integrated Jack And Four Plug Structure

Grouped Female Interface
The P1 connector brings four two contact female interfaces together in a two by two arrangement within one outer housing. A white front insert separates the four contact positions, while the turquoise body surrounds the mating area. This grouped construction concentrates the four channels at one connection point instead of requiring four individually positioned connectors at the equipment end.
Four Individually Housed Male Plugs
Each branch terminates in an ECT 818026772 male plug with its own turquoise housing and a visible pink component on top. The metal contact interface sits within the front opening of each plug body. Four separate housings allow the branch connectors to be positioned individually, accommodating spaced mating locations rather than fixing all four plug interfaces into one common connector block.

Dedicated Pair to Branch Wiring
The harness assigns one P1 contact pair to each branch: pins 1 and 2 to P2, pins 3 and 4 to P3, pins 5 and 6 to P4, and pins 7 and 8 to P5. Each path includes a corresponding shell ground connection. Four separate cables leave the rear of P1, maintaining distinct routes to the individual plugs and establishing a clear physical relationship between the grouped interface and each branch.

Applications & Customer Value
Equipment to Peripheral Harness Connections
The female to male arrangement accommodates projects requiring individual plug ends at distributed connection points, subject to mating interface confirmation.
Development Bench Connections
Separate branches give engineers access to individual paths for circuit identification, connection checks and troubleshooting.
Distributed Test Fixtures
Independent plug ends can reach mating positions around fixture plates and mounting frames, with routing dimensions defined during drawing review.
Service Harness Integration
Branches can be routed toward accessible connection locations, allowing maintenance access to be considered before the harness layout is finalized.
Product Features
Jack to Plug Combination
The assembly uses ECT 818018063 at the integrated end and 818026772 at each branch. These references distinguish it from a jack-to-jack harness and support mating-part verification.
P1 IP67 Waterproof Construction
The integrated P1 connector is specified as IP67 Waterproof. This documented rating applies to P1; a protection rating for the branch plugs or complete assembly is not confirmed.
Documented Channel Grounding
The wiring drawing identifies shell ground connections for all four paths. This establishes a termination reference for maintaining the specified ground arrangement during assembly.
Measurable Assembly Checks
Production requirements include 100% continuity testing, 500 VRMS dielectric withstand and 110 N cable retention, covering wiring continuity, insulation withstand and cable attachment.
Customization Capabilities
Premier Cable supports:
Connector Customization
Connector type, gender, coding and housing design can be reviewed against confirmed mating interfaces and installation space.
Cable Customization
Overall length, branch lengths, jacket, shielding and cable structure can be specified according to routing and environmental requirements.
Electrical Customization
Pin assignment, wiring definition and circuit configuration can follow an approved schematic. Resistance value and power rating requirements are reviewed where applicable.
OEM Manufacturing
Drawing review, prototypes, mass production, labels and packaging are supported according to approved project requirements.
Product FAQ
Q1. Does this breakout cable convert communication protocols ?
The supplied drawing defines a wired interconnect without a protocol conversion circuit. Any conversion function would require separate hardware and specifications.
Q2. Is this assembly interchangeable with a female to female breakout cable ?
The branch mating interfaces differ. Selection depends on the gender and geometry of the corresponding connectors, even when the channel count is identical.
Q3. Does Z Code confirm compatibility with my equipment ?
Coding alone is insufficient. Confirm the mating connector model, mechanical interface and electrical requirements before selecting the assembly.
Q4. Is 500 VRMS the operating voltage of this cable ?
No. The drawing lists 500 VRMS minimum as a dielectric withstand requirement. It does not specify an operating voltage.
Q5. What should be supplied when requesting an OEM sample ?
Send the mating part references, required dimensions, wiring diagram, sample quantity and acceptance criteria. Include any labeling or packaging requirements.
