Waterproof H-MTD Interface for Multi-Channel Ethernet Connections
This cable assembly is designed for applications that require a sealed multi-port H-MTD connection on one side while retaining four individual MATEnet interfaces on the other.
The P1 side uses the Rosenberger E6K14D-1CAZ5-Z, a four-port H-MTD Z-code jack with a waterproof interface. Four GG 2Speed 251 differential cables then fan out to individual TE Connectivity 2302454-9 MATEnet Z-code connectors.
This configuration is particularly useful when a vehicle module or bulkhead-side connection requires environmental protection while the individual MATEnet branches are routed inside the vehicle or test system.
Waterproof H-MTD Connector on the P1 Side
The key feature of this harness is the waterproof quadruple H-MTD interface. Rosenberger E6K14D-1CAZ5-Z combines four differential signal pairs in one compact housing and provides an IP67-capable H-MTD connection when used under the specified mating conditions.
The four MATEnet breakout connectors are separate non-sealed interfaces, allowing the harness to combine a protected H-MTD connection with conventional MATEnet routing inside the system.

E6K14D-1CAZ5-Z Quad H-MTD Connection
The quadruple connector architecture places four shielded differential channels in one compact H-MTD housing. Compared with routing several separate interfaces at the module side, this approach reduces connector count and simplifies multi-channel cable management.
The waterproof version is intended for locations where the H-MTD connection may be exposed to moisture, splash or other environmental conditions that require a sealed mating interface.
One Sealed Interface, Four MATEnet Branches
Each H-MTD channel is routed separately to one MATEnet Z-code connector. The harness therefore functions as a multi-channel adapter rather than electrically splitting a single Ethernet signal.
