Mini-B B Code to 14 Pin Male Shielded Cable

A 14 pin equipment port can require only selected contacts for a particular cable connection. Premier Cable PCM-ZC-0271 terminates four conductors from a Mini-B B Code plug at specified positions within a 14 pin plug, with a separate connection between the metal shells.

The grey Mini-B interface is compatible with Molex 111014-9001. The rectangular equipment interface is compatible with Molex 111146-9437 and carries a red locking component. This assembly addresses projects that require these two connector formats within one finished harness.

B Code Mini-B Entry

The grey B Code housing locates the Mini-B plug within a polarized enclosure. Its top latch forms part of the mating arrangement and must align with the receiving equipment port.

Dual Row Equipment Connector

The rectangular equipment plug arranges fourteen contacts in two rows within a metal shell. A black outer housing surrounds the interface and carries a red locking component.

Selective Contact Termination

The cable routes four conductors to selected positions in the 14 pin interface. The remaining contact positions are outside the wiring arrangement shown in the supplied drawing.

Shield and Rear Molding

Foil and braid shielding enclose the conductor assembly beneath the PVC jacket. Black PVC molding covers both rear terminations, while the drawing specifies shell continuity between ends.

No. The 14 pin designation describes the equipment connector. The drawing specifies four internal conductors and a separate shell connection.

Q2. How does this model differ from the 12 pin PCM-ZC-0267?

PCM-ZC-0271 uses the interface compatible with Molex 111146-9437. The connector contact count and wiring differ from the 12 pin assembly, so the models should not be selected interchangeably.
