Available Configurations

Sealed Mate-AX Female to FAKRA Female Cable
Connection Structure: One 2-2312192-9 Mate-AX female connector connected to one 2-2326910-0 straight FAKRA female connector. Both interfaces use Z Code within their respective connector systems.
Unique Difference: Changes the connector family while retaining female terminations at both ends.
Suitable Installation: A corresponding Mate-AX male equipment port connected to a FAKRA male port inside a protected enclosure or installation area.
Sealed Mate-AX Female to FAKRA Male Cable
Connection Structure: One 2-2312192-9 Mate-AX female connector connected to one 2-2326914-0 straight FAKRA male connector. Both interfaces use Z Code within their respective connector systems.
Unique Difference: Terminates in a male FAKRA interface for connection to an existing female terminated cable.
Suitable Installation: Harness adaptation where the original FAKRA cable remains in place and requires a Mate-AX connection at its remote end.

Sealed Mate-AX Female to Unsealed Mate-AX Female Cable
Connection Structure: One 2-2312192-9 sealed Mate-AX female connector connected to one 1-2310137-9 non-sealed Mate-AX female connector. Both use Mate-AX Z Code.
Unique Difference: Retains the Mate-AX connector family while changing the housing and sealing arrangement between the two ends.
Suitable Installation: Equipment layouts with a sealed mating connection at one location and a corresponding non-sealed male interface within a protected compartment.
Applications & Customer Value
Camera Upgrade Projects
A replacement camera may require a new connector while the receiving system remains unchanged. An interface adapter harness allows engineers to assess the new camera connection without immediately replacing the complete installed cable route.
Protected Compartment Connections
Connection points inside an enclosure may have different environmental requirements from those outside it. Specifying each end according to its location makes the installation boundary clear and avoids treating one sealed connector as proof of complete harness protection.
Existing Cable Retention
An installed cable may be difficult to remove because it passes through trim, brackets or equipment assemblies. A matching adapter can retain that route, subject to confirmation that the additional connection meets the system's electrical requirements.
Prototype Interface Evaluation
Development teams may need to compare receiving equipment with different port arrangements. Three defined end combinations make it easier to select and document the required harness for each prototype build.
Product Features
Dedicated Single Cavity Termination
The common Mate-AX connector housing contains one individual coaxial connection position. Each cable assembly follows a single dedicated cable route without a branch point or grouped channel arrangement.
Connector Specific Retention Hardware
The pictured 2-2312192-9 housing includes a visible red retaining component. The receiving connectors use their own housing and latch designs, so assembly access must be checked separately at each end.
Configuration 3 Distinct Housing
The supplied image identifies 1-2310137-9 as non-sealed. Its housing differs visibly from the sealed version, making part number verification essential despite both having Mate-AX female interfaces.
FDC402 Cable Between Terminations
All three illustrated versions specify FDC402 coaxial cable. Cable preparation, contact termination and inspection requirements can be established in the manufacturing drawing for the selected connector pair.
Customization Capabilities
Premier Cable supports:
Connector Customization
Connector type, gender, coding and housing design can be reviewed against the mating component drawings. The project specification can identify which connection requires a sealed housing and which sits within a protected area.
Cable Customization
Length, jacket, shielding and cable structure can be reviewed for the actual route. Measurement points, tolerances and additional protective coverings can be defined before prototype manufacture.
Electrical Customization
Pin assignment and wiring definition can be documented from the equipment requirements. Circuit configuration, resistance value and power rating requirements can be reviewed where applicable; they are not confirmed characteristics of these illustrated assemblies.
OEM Manufacturing
Premier Cable supports drawing review, prototype preparation and mass production. Labels can distinguish the camera end from the receiving end, while packaging can identify the approved configuration for installation teams.
Product FAQ
Q1. Is this an active camera signal converter?
No. It is a physical connector adapter cable. It does not change the camera protocol, process video or convert the signal into another communication standard.
Q2. Why do two Mate-AX female connectors have different part numbers?
A shared connector family and gender do not mean identical construction. Housing design, sealing provisions and assembly details can differ. Order using the complete reference rather than the family name alone.
Q3. Can I connect a new camera to an existing system with this cable?
Only after checking both mechanical and electrical requirements. Provide the camera and receiving equipment references, signal system and proposed total cable route for evaluation.
Q4. Does the sealed Mate-AX end make the entire connection IP67 Waterproof?
No complete assembly rating is established by the supplied images. An IP67 Waterproof claim requires confirmation of the rated connector arrangement, correct mating conditions and completed harness construction.
Q5. How should I specify a custom length when retaining an existing cable?
Provide the required adapter length, its measurement points and the length of the existing cable. Include intermediate connectors so the complete connection path can be reviewed, along with quantity and acceptance requirements.
