The M12 to Mini-Change 7/8" Connector is a highly reliable interface adapter designed to bridge standard M12 interfaces with 7/8" Mini-Change interfaces, thereby enabling the stable transmission of both power and data. The PCM-S-0405 model is ideally suited for applications in industrial automation, marine electronics, and fieldbus network systems, where it ensures signal integrity and communication reliability.
NMEA 2000 systems utilize two distinct types of cabling: drop cables and trunk cables. To accommodate the specific requirements of different signal lines, these two cable types employ different wire gauges. Specifically, Mini-C (Mini-Change) connectors are designated for use with heavy-gauge trunk cables, while Micro-C (Micro-Change) connectors are utilized for light-gauge trunk cables.
