M12 Power T-Splitter Connector T-code

 

In a wide range of application fields, the M12 T-coded power connector facilitates signal transmission for sensor technology and data transmission for fieldbus systems. It not only effectively reduces installation costs but also significantly saves both installation time and space. Since the M12 connector has many pin types, its coding forms are also diverse. The common four types are A, B, C, and D code. There are certain differences mainly in their uses.

A, B, D and X encodings are the most common. This is because A, B and D coded connectors have been for a long time and are some of the original M12 connectors. X-coded connectors are becoming increasingly popular in high-speed industrial Ethernet and will eventually replace A and D-coded components for Ethernet applications.

A new encoding of K-coding is being developed for AC power supplies, while an L-coding design will soon be available for Profinet DC supplies
