Available Configurations

Sky Blue FAKRA Female to Female Extension Cable
Connection Structure
A straight FAKRA female connector with a sky blue housing is fitted at each end.
Unique Difference
Maintains the FAKRA connector format throughout the extension path without introducing a different interface type.
Suitable Installation
Extending between matching FAKRA male connection points where the existing cable does not reach the required equipment location.
White FAKRA Female to SMA Bulkhead Female Cable
Connection Structure
A white FAKRA straight female connector connects to an SMA female connector with an externally threaded mounting body, nut and washer.
Unique Difference
Combines interface adaptation with a fixed panel connection point.
Suitable Installation
Equipment enclosures where an internal FAKRA lead must connect to an SMA male cable outside the panel. Panel thickness and mounting dimensions require confirmation.

Applications & Customer Value
Automotive Antenna Routing
Antenna and receiver positions may change during equipment installation. Selecting a cable length around the intended route allows the connection to reach its destination without pulling the original lead tight.
Enclosure Connection Points
Equipment builders may need an accessible RF socket on the enclosure surface. A fixed connection point allows external cables to be attached without opening the enclosure for each connection.
Camera RF Harness Integration
Camera wiring projects can require additional cable reach or a different connector termination. The appropriate assembly can address that physical connection requirement once the camera system's electrical specifications have been checked.
Product Features
FAKRA Housing Locking Latches
The FAKRA connectors include molded housings with visible latch structures. These housings provide the mechanical retention features used at the mating connection.
SMA Threaded Coupling Mechanism
The SMA female end securely accepts a matching threaded male connector. This creates a different coupling method from the latch-operated FAKRA connector end.
Separate Panel Retention Hardware
The SMA mounting nut and washer secure the connector body to a panel independently of the external cable's coupling nut. This separates panel attachment from cable mating.
Unbranched Coaxial Layout
Each assembly follows one continuous cable path between two end terminations. There are no splitter branches or additional output connections in either pictured version.
Customization Capabilities
Premier Cable supports:
Connector Customization
Connector type, gender, coding and housing design can be reviewed against the specified mating interfaces. FAKRA keying should be defined from the receiving connector rather than selected by color alone.
Cable Customization
Premier Cable supports length selection and reviews jacket, shielding and cable structure requirements. Alternative cable constructions require confirmation of their suitability for the selected connector terminations.
Electrical Customization
Pin assignment, wiring definition and circuit configuration can be reviewed from the application requirements. Requests involving resistance values or power ratings require engineering assessment before inclusion in the assembly specification.
OEM Manufacturing
Premier Cable supports drawing review, prototype preparation and mass production following sample approval. Labels and packaging can be specified for installation identification and repeat purchasing.
Product FAQ
Q1. Does the extension cable amplify an antenna signal?
No. It is a passive cable assembly. Added cable and connector length introduces loss rather than signal gain.
Q2. Is the SMA female end an inline socket or a panel mounting connector?
The pictured version has a threaded mounting body, nut and washer for bulkhead installation.
Q3. Does the white FAKRA housing confirm GPS compatibility?
No. Housing color alone does not establish application compatibility. The mating interface, keying and system requirements must also match.
Q4. What information is needed to assess RF performance?
Specify the operating frequency, required impedance, cable length and acceptable insertion loss. These values cannot be established from the product photograph alone.
Q5. What should be supplied for an OEM order?
Provide the selected version, quantity, cable length and mating connector details. For the SMA version, include the panel drawing or mounting requirements.
