Dual-Plug HD44 Link Between Two Female Interfaces
PCM-0969 is a 44-position high-density D-Sub male-to-male cable built for installations where both connected devices present HD44 female interfaces. The two plug ends create a detachable equipment-to-equipment link without using an open-wire breakout or a male-to-female extension arrangement.
The standard build uses black UL20276 28 AWG multi-pair cable and has a finished length of 2000 ± 30 mm. Each end is overmolded around an HD44 male connector with a black insulator, nickel-plated shell and UNC #4-40 locking screws.
The cable is manufactured to an approved channel map. The drawing does not establish universal 1-to-1 wiring, so the required contact assignment must be confirmed before the assembly is used as a replacement or equipment link.

Because both cable ends are male, this assembly is not intended to extend an existing male cable end. It is selected when two separate female equipment interfaces must be interconnected.

Channel Map and Production Control
HD44 identifies the connector format but does not define the electrical circuit. PCM-0969 may be produced with a direct contact map, crossed channels or another customer-specific arrangement when supported by an approved wire list.
