DB37 Female Breakout Interface
PCM-0961 is a DB37 female to open wire cable assembly designed to break out a 37-position D-Sub male equipment interface into individually accessible conductors.
The standard build uses grey UL2464 26 AWG 37-conductor shielded cable with a finished length of 1500 ± 30 mm. The P2 end provides 75 ± 10 mm flying leads with 3 ± 1 mm pre-stripped conductor ends for terminal blocks, PCB wiring, test fixtures or customer-specific termination.
The DB37 female connector includes a black insulator, nickel-plated shell and UNC #4-40 locking hardware. Contact-to-wire assignment is manufactured according to an approved wire list or customer drawing.

The standard P2 end is supplied without terminals. Ferrules, crimp contacts, secondary connectors, wire labels and alternative strip lengths can be added according to the installation requirements.
The drawing shows the cable braid cut at the open-wire end. Any required connection to the DB37 shell, chassis ground or drain wire should be defined before production.
Electrical Inspection
- 100% open-circuit, short-circuit and miswire test
- Insulation resistance: 10 MOhm minimum at DC 300 V
- Contact resistance: 3 Ohm maximum
- Cable length, breakout preparation and external workmanship inspected before shipment
