A Compact RJ45-to-RCA Interface for Studio Wiring
PCM-KW-665 is designed as a short adapter rather than a long interconnect cable. The RJ45 female interface allows it to be paired with an appropriate shielded RJ45 patch cable, while the two RCA male connectors provide direct access to conventional analog audio equipment.
This modular arrangement is useful in studios where the RJ45 infrastructure is already installed and only a short adapter is needed at the destination equipment.

RJ45 Audio Wiring Is Not the Same as Ethernet
The RJ45 connector in this application is used as an audio wiring interface. Compatibility depends on the audio pin assignment of the equipment, so the cable should not be selected simply because the device has an RJ45 socket.
ANALOG AUDIO BREAKOUT
Two RCA Connections from One RJ45 Audio Port
The adapter separates two audio channels carried by the compatible RJ45 interface and routes them to individual RCA male connectors. This makes it possible to integrate RCA-equipped recorders, processors, playback devices and other audio equipment into an RJ45-based studio wiring system.
Gold-plated RCA contact surfaces and metal connector shells provide a durable termination for repeated professional installation and equipment connection.
RCA interfaces are normally unbalanced. Always verify the source and destination wiring requirements when connecting a balanced RJ45 audio interface to unbalanced equipment.
