PCM-KW-666 provides a direct connection between a compatible RJ45 broadcast audio interface and two RCA-equipped audio channels. Designed for professional studio and broadcast integration, the 2-meter cable combines a shielded RJ45 connection with two gold-plated RCA male connectors for analog audio equipment interconnection.

Professional broadcast equipment often uses compact RJ45 connections for audio wiring, while recorders, monitoring devices, processors and other AV equipment may still use conventional RCA interfaces.
PCM-KW-666 provides a ready-made connection between these two interface formats, separating the two audio channels carried by the compatible RJ45 interface into individual RCA male connectors.

The breakout side uses two RCA male connectors with gold-plated contact surfaces. Separate red and black connector boots make the two channels easier to identify during installation, troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
The approximately 400mm breakout section gives the RCA connectors enough separation for connection to equipment ports that are not positioned directly beside one another.
APPLICATION NOTE
RJ45 Broadcast Audio and RCA Use Different Signal Interfaces
RCA is normally used for unbalanced analog audio, while compatible professional RJ45 audio interfaces may use balanced analog wiring. The cable wiring therefore needs to match the source and destination equipment rather than being selected only by connector type.
Before installation, verify the equipment model, input/output direction, audio level and required RJ45 pin assignment. This cable should not be treated as a standard Ethernet cable even though it uses an 8P8C RJ45 connector.
STUDIO INTEGRATION
Connect Broadcast Infrastructure to Conventional Audio Devices
The 2-meter cable length is suitable for routing between broadcast nodes, consoles or rack equipment and nearby RCA-equipped devices without requiring a separate short adapter and extension cable.
Typical uses include broadcast studios, radio stations, recording rooms, audio processors, monitoring systems, playback equipment, commercial AV systems and professional audio integration projects.
