Available Configurations

2 Port Male Port 1 to Single Port Female
The 2 port male, 2390608-1, uses only port 1, and the cable runs to one MATEnet single port female, part number 2302510-1, black housing.
Use it when you only need one of the two channels on the 2 port male. Port 1 carries the signal, and port 2 is left unconnected. The single port female plugs into a standard MATEnet male pigtail. The 0.5 m to 3 m length range covers dashboard to sensor routing.
2 Port Male Port 2 to Single Port Female
The 2 port male, 2390608-1, uses only port 2, and the cable runs to one MATEnet single port female, part number 2302510-1, black housing.
Use it when you need the second channel on the 2 port male rather than the first. Port 2 carries the signal, and port 1 is left unconnected. The single port female plugs into a standard MATEnet male pigtail. The 0.5 m to 3 m length range covers dashboard to sensor routing.

2 Port Male to 2x Single Port Female
The 2 port male, 2390608-1, uses both ports, and the cable fans out to two MATEnet single port female receptacles, part number 2302510-1, black housing.
Use it when both gigabit channels need to reach two separate single port female devices, such as two cameras or two radar sensors. Each single port female accepts a standard MATEnet male pigtail. The 0.5 m to 3 m length range covers dashboard to sensor and trunk routing.
2 Port Male to 2 Port Male
Both ends are the MATEnet 2 port male, part number 2390608-1, black housing.
Use it as a 2 port to 2 port extension when you need to extend between two 2 port female receptacles, such as bridging two panel mounted female sockets. The male to male gender reaches across the gap without cutting either factory pigtail. The 0.5 m to 3 m range covers dashboard and trunk routing.

2 Port Male to 2 Port Female
One end is the MATEnet 2 port male, 2390608-1, and the other end is the MATEnet 2 port female, 2307961-1, both black housing.
Use it when you need to cross genders in a 2 port link, such as connecting a 2 port male pigtail to a 2 port female socket. The male end plugs into a female receptacle and the female end accepts a male plug. The 0.5 m to 3 m range covers dashboard and trunk routing.
2 Port Male to 2x Single Port Z Coded Male
The 2 port male, 2390608-1, uses both ports, and the cable fans out to two MATEnet single port Z coded male plugs, part number 2302461-9, water blue.
Use it when both channels need to reach two devices with MATEnet female sockets, such as two female ended cameras or test jigs. Each Z coded male plugs directly into a female socket without an adapter. The 0.5 m to 3 m lengths cover sensor to ECU and bench test routing.

Applications
| Application | How It Is Used | What It Enables |
| Gender adaptation | Cross a 2 port male pigtail to a 2 port female socket. | Bridges two factory harnesses with opposite genders. |
| Bench test rig | Wire MATEnet 2 port ECUs to single port test instruments. | Repeatable gigabit test links instead of hand built cables. |
| Single channel use | Use only port 1 or port 2 of the 2 port male. | Connects one channel when the ECU has a 2 port housing. |
| 2 port extension | Extend a factory MATEnet 2 port pigtail with male to male. | Reaches a relocated ECU without cutting the factory harness. |
| Zonal controller fan out | Break the 2 port male out to one or two single port sensors. | One or two gigabit channels reach devices from one ECU port. |
Closing line: because every channel runs through factory terminated MATEnet connectors on the same shielded Dacar 647-4 cable, the gigabit links stay impedance matched end to end.

Product FAQ
Q1: Is this a genuine TE MATEnet connector?
Yes. The 2 port male housing is genuine TE MATEnet, part number 2390608-1, black housing. The cable is original LEONI Dacar 647-4 fully shielded gigabit automotive Ethernet.
Q2: What is the difference between Config 3 and Config 6?
Config 3 fans out to two black single port female receptacles. Config 6 fans out to two water blue Z coded single port male plugs. Pick the gender and color that matches the devices on the other end.
Q3: Can you make custom lengths or fan out combinations?
Yes. We support custom lengths from 0.5 m to 3 m and beyond, and can quote other MATEnet gender and coding combinations on request. Send us your connector photos and target length, and we will quote the matching assembly.
Q4: What is the difference between Config 1 and Config 2?
Config 1 uses port 1 of the 2 port male and carries one channel to a single port female. Config 2 uses port 2 of the 2 port male and carries one channel to a single port female. They differ only in which channel of the 2 port housing is used.
