This adapter must only be used in systems where the Powered USB host outputs 12V.

Connecting a 24V Powered USB power source will result in overvoltage damage to 12V devices.

This adapter does not change voltage - it allows 12V systems to use 24V-standard Powered USB cables safely.

Connecting a 24V powered USB host directly to this product.

Attempting to use this product for 24V → 12V voltage reduction.
