ECT Mini Fakra A Code to Quad Rosenberger Fakra Female Cable

This automotive camera cable brings four coaxial paths into a single black ECT Mini Fakra 818018733 female housing. At the opposite end, each path terminates in its own Rosenberger 59Z163-003Z straight Fakra female connector. The layout fits camera systems that use a grouped A Code connection at the control unit and separate Z Code connections along the harness.

Both ends use sealed connector designs. The distinguishing feature is the use of four sealed Rosenberger branch connectors, allowing sealing requirements to be addressed at each individual connection as well as at the grouped interface.

This cable uses the same Rosenberger 59Z163-003Z straight female connector on all four branches, so the drawing can specify a common mating connector and sealing arrangement at each endpoint while allowing different cable routes.

The straight connector bodies require room along the mating axis. When laying out the harness, allow clearance to engage and release each connector and enough space behind it for the cable to turn without placing tension on the connection.

Branch Dimensions and Channel Assignment

Select a listed length or request a custom length based on the actual cable route. If the four Fakra ports are at different distances, send a sketch showing the breakout point, the required reach to each port and the reference points used to measure the branches. Can the four branches be connected and serviced individually ?
Yes. Each branch has its own Fakra connector, so technicians can disconnect an individual branch while leaving the grouped Mini Fakra connector in place. Leave enough clearance to reach each latch.

How should sealing be checked for the installed cable ?
