4-Port GEMnet to Four MATEnet Connections
The PCM-ZC-0188 cable assembly uses a GEMnet Z-Code connector based on TE 1-2386629-4 at the main interface and four MATEnet Z-Code connectors based on TE 2302510-9 at the breakout side.
Instead of combining or duplicating one data channel, the harness routes four separate pin pairs from the multi-port GEMnet interface to four individual MATEnet branches.
Multi-Channel Breakout Harness Design
The four-port breakout structure is useful when a consolidated GEMnet connector must be distributed into four separate MATEnet interfaces while maintaining defined channel-to-branch wiring.
Each branch uses its own conductor pair and shield connection according to the assembly drawing, helping keep the channel arrangement clear during equipment integration and cable installation.
