CoaXPress (CXP) cable is a coaxial cable for high-performance digital image transmission, mainly used in industrial cameras, machine vision systems, and high-resolution image acquisition systems.
CoaXPress supports high-speed transmission speeds of 6.25 Gbps, and the transmission distance is more than 10 meters; CoaXPress cable also supports powering the device because it supports Power over CoaXPress (PoCXP) function, allowing the cable to transmit power and data at the same time.
Its main applications, but not limited to, include industrial cameras, machine vision systems, medical imaging, and automation and control systems.
At the same time, in addition to supporting 6.25 Gbps speeds, in CoaXPress 2.0 version, it supports a single-channel data transmission rate of 12.5 Gbps, which can meet 4K and 8K video transmission.
