AU1-Compatible to USB Type-C Automotive Cable Assembly
PCM-HD-0308 is an independently manufactured automotive USB Type-C cable assembly with an AU1-compatible locking connector on one end and a standard USB Type-C male connector on the other. It is designed for compatible vehicle electronics, development systems and other applications requiring these two interface types.
AU1-Compatible Locking to Standard USB-C
PCM-HD-0308 combines an AU1-compatible automotive locking interface with a conventional USB Type-C male connector. This configuration is useful when an automotive module or secured internal interface needs to connect to equipment using a standard USB-C receptacle.
The AU1-compatible side uses a straight housing with standard keying and an orange CPA locking component, while the opposite side uses a standard overmolded USB Type-C male connector.
USB 3.2 Gen 2, 100W and DP Alt Mode
The cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 data transmission up to 10Gbps and power delivery up to 20V / 5A, providing a maximum power capability of 100W.
An E-Marker is integrated into the USB Type-C connector design. The cable also supports 4K 60Hz DisplayPort Alt Mode when used with compatible source and display equipment.
