HDB62 Male-to-Female Interface Extension
PCM-0970 is a 62-position high-density D-Sub male-to-female cable for extending a compatible equipment interface while retaining opposite connector genders at the two cable ends.
The standard 2 m assembly uses black UL20276 28 AWG multi-pair shielded cable. Both ends are overmolded and fitted with nickel-plated HDB62 connector shells, UNC #4-40 locking hardware and an in-line cable core near the connector.
Pin assignment must follow an approved wire list. The HDB62 interface alone does not confirm straight-through wiring or compatibility with a particular device.

Verification Before Installation
- Confirm the mating HDB62 connector gender at both equipment interfaces
- Verify the complete P1-to-P2 contact map
- Check twisted-pair allocation for differential or noise-sensitive circuits
- Confirm shield and connector-shell grounding requirements
- Review cable length, bend radius and connector clearance
Physical mating does not by itself establish electrical compatibility. Equipment pinout and signal requirements must be reviewed before the cable is approved as an extension or replacement assembly.
