HPDB 68 Pin Female SCSI Connector with Backshell
PCM-TAT-0010 is a 68-pin female HPDB connector designed for compact high-density signal interconnection. The 1.27 mm contact pitch, protective backshell and UNC 2-56 screw-locking structure make it suitable for SCSI-style interfaces, industrial equipment, data acquisition systems, test instruments and custom multi-signal cable assemblies.

68-Position Half-Pitch High-Density Interface
HPDB68 is a commonly used designation for a 68-position half-pitch high-density connector format. The closely spaced contacts allow a large number of electrical connections to be accommodated within a relatively compact connector body.
This female version combines the connector interface with a protective backshell and external fastening hardware, making it suitable for cable-side equipment connections where both contact density and mechanical retention are required.

Mechanical Retention
Backshell Protection with 2-56 Screw Locking
The backshell encloses the rear of the connector and provides additional mechanical protection around the cable termination area. This construction is useful where the connector will be installed repeatedly or used as part of an equipment cable assembly.
Two external UNC 2-56 locking screws secure the mating interface after connection. Compared with a friction-fit connection alone, the screw-locking structure provides more positive retention and helps prevent accidental separation during equipment installation or operation.
