1. Connection method:

Press-type terminal: Using a spring or clip mechanism, the user only needs to insert the wire into the terminal hole, and then press or release the button, and the spring inside the terminal will automatically fix the wire. This design does not require tools, and the operation is very simple and quick.

Screw terminal: The wire is fixed by a screw. The user needs to tighten the screw with a screwdriver to ensure that the wire is in close contact with the terminal. The installation process requires tools and the operation time is relatively long.

2. Installation speed:

Press-type terminal: The installation speed is fast, and no tools such as screwdrivers are required. The connection can be completed by simply pressing. It is particularly suitable for occasions that require quick installation or frequent connection changes.

Screw terminal: Since the screws need to be tightened manually, the installation speed is relatively slow, especially when a large number of wires need to be connected.

3. Reliability and stability:

Press-type terminal: The spring mechanism can automatically adjust the pressure within a certain range to ensure that the wire is firmly connected and not easy to loosen. Suitable for environments with large vibrations.

Screw terminal: The tightness of the screw directly affects the firmness of the connection. If the screw is not tightened enough, it may cause the connection to loosen, especially in an environment with vibration or long-term use.

4. Scope of application:

Press-type terminals: commonly used in applications that require fast and frequent connection and disconnection, such as electrical control cabinets, equipment wiring, industrial automation, etc.

Screw terminals: widely used in various electrical connection occasions, especially for places that require long-term and stable connections, such as power distribution, fixed installation equipment wiring, etc.

5. Maintenance and repair:

Press-type terminals: maintenance and repair are relatively simple, just press the button to loosen the wire, which is convenient for reconnecting or replacing the wire.

Screw terminals: tools are required to loosen the screws, which may take more time, especially when space is limited or there are many wires.

In general, press-type terminals are more convenient and faster, suitable for applications that require flexible and frequent connections, while screw terminals are widely used in various electrical connections with their traditional reliability and wide applicability.
